HopeShines Ministry has a special place in their heart for the Deaf. Deaf people are among the largest 'unreached for Christ', groups of people in the world.   In Eldoret, Kenya there is a Deaf school with children who are considered outcast/cursed due to their Deafness. We know they are precious to Christ. Mark 10:14-16 Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these”

Our desire is to provide God’s love through action to them. We have done several projects at the Deaf school, including building a playground , providing play shoes (crocs), painting walls, providing sponsorship for children to attend the school, doing some updates/improvements around the school. We desire to continue to do small projects to help students have a safe place to get an education. We also desire to share Jesus Christ with them by visiting them in person and sharing the gospel.
